Eric P. Bell

Eric P. Bell, 44, of Smiths Station, AL died at his home on Friday, January 31, 2025.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM (EST) on Monday, February 10, 2025 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Mr. Sam Beman officiating. Interment with U. S. Air Force honors will be held at 2:30 PM (EST) on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour on Monday at the funeral home.

Eric was born May 25, 1980, in Warner Robins, GA son of Julie Staver Sharp and the late Ronald Bell. He retired from the U. S. Air Force as a Technical Sergeant (E6) after 15 years of dedicated service to our country. He leaves behind a family that adored him for his unwavering love for his children’s well-being and his quirky, always-charismatic personality—whether he was fixing a car, motorcycle, computer, or sharing stories. He and his wife often shared the sentiment, “You are my favorite weirdo”. Rest in peace Eric, he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Your unique spirit and boundless energy will continue to inspire those who love you forever. You will always be “Our favorite weirdo".

Eric was the devoted husband to Diana Gueorguieva Bell and the loving father of Victoria "Tori" Bell, Eric Bell (II), Joshua Bell, Kallen Bell, and Aiden Bell. He is survived by his children; his mother Julie Sharp; three sisters, Jamie Martin, Alana Roberts, and Catherin Crooms; two brothers, Brian and Ronald Bell; nieces and nephews, Connor Blakely (Debra), Kaylee Martin, Aja Whitmore, Alexis Bell, David Bell, Shelby Bell, and Samantha Bell, as well as several other nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and many dear friends.
