Ernest Franklin “Frank” Craddock,Jr. 71, of Smiths, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama.
Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 pm, Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home Phenix City, AL, with Bishop David Jones officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:30 pm until, at the family’s house following the service.
Frank was born on September 11, 1950, in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, the son of Frank Craddock, Sr. and Margaret Hurst Craddock. He worked for Sunshine Biscuits until his retirement. Frank had a great work ethic and was a good provider for his family. Frank was a Christian, and member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He loved his family, listening to Country Music, watching NASCAR, and pulling for the TIDE. Frank will always be remembered as “A man of strong faith that loved God and Country.”
He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Craddock, Sr.; mother, Margaret Craddock; son, Eric Craddock; brother, Larry Craddock; and his first wife, Sandra Craddock.
He is survived by his adored wife Shelia Craddock; two sons, Norman (Lori) Bush, and Chris (Anna) Bush; three brothers, Thomas (Irene) Craddock, Buddy Craddock, and Jeff Craddock; three granddaughters, Arianna Craddock, Emily Bush, Aspen McCorkle; four grandsons, Jimmy Craddock, Simon Craddock, Ryan McCorkle, Dylan Bush; great grandson, Jason Craddock; as well as several extended family and caring friends.
