Eugenia E. Earnest Dixon, 64, of Box Springs, GA passed away while at St. Francis Hospital, Columbus, GA on Sunday, August 14, 2022.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM (EST) at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.
Ms. Dixon was born December 18, 1957 in Bainbridge, GA daughter of the late Eugene Talmadge Earnest and Nancy Ann Lawson Earnest. She had worked for many years as a Shift Manager at Pizza Hut with her husband, Allen Ray Dixon, Sr. Maw Maw as we knew her was a hard-working woman who never seemed to stop. She was the neighborhood mom welcoming anyone who stopped by the house. Maw Maw loved to share the latest gossip she heard, sometimes adding to it a little bit. However, if you wanted to get her riled up, just gossip about her children or grandchildren. She loved them more than life itself. We will miss her more than words can express, but she will always live in our hearts.
Ms. Dixon was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Nancy Earnest; a brother, Eugene T. “Bubba” Earnest, Jr. and a daughter-in-law, Wendy G. Dixon.
Survivors include her three children, Allen Dixon, Jr. (Kristy), Angelia Reddoch (Chad) and Hiram E. Dixon (Candy); father of her children, Allen Ray Dixon, Sr.; one sister, Victoria Hefflin (Chris); ten grandchildren, Jacob, Cassie, Harlie, Allison, Justin, Kristopher, Rebecca, Kaylee, Gena and Morgan; fifteen great-grandchildren, Caiden, Camryn, Bryleigh, Harper, Gabriella, Auri, Cali, Hunter, Hadleigh, Ryleigh, Naci, Raelynn, Willow, Haven and Anniston; nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
