Eva Mae Stroud, age 96, resident of Phenix, City, Alabama, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 15, 2021. Funeral services are scheduled at Whiterock Assembly of God, Ladonia, Alabama on Monday, July 19, 2021, 2pm with Reverend Ron Cheney and Revered Stephen Stroud officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at church one hour prior to the service on Monday, July 19, 2021 from 1 pm to 2 p.m.
Mrs. Stroud, daughter of the late Andrew Ward and Eula Jane Lawson Ward, was born December 26, 1924 in Baker, Florida. She was a homemaker and member of Whiterock Assembly of God, Ladonia, Alabama. Mrs. Stroud enjoyed gardening and cooking, but most enjoyed spending quality time with her family.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Adolphus Lee Stroud; son, James Lavon Stroud; grandson, Chris Olds; four brothers; and four sisters.
She is survived by one daughter, Faye Stroud Olds and her husband Vernon of Seale, Alabama; two sons, Douglas Lamar Stroud and his wife Diane of Crawford, Alabama and Carlton Lee Stroud and his wife Diane of Salem, Alabama; One daughter In-Law, Janette (Lavon’s Wife) of Phenix City, Alabama; one sister, Callie Lee Williamson of Milton, Florida; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
