Evelyn Marie Adams

Evelyn Marie Adams, 73, of Phenix City, AL died at River Towne Center in Columbus, GA on Friday, April 17, 2020.

 Mrs. Adams will be laid to rest with her late husband, Richard B. Adams at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.

Ms. Adams was born November 15, 1946 in Terre Haute, IN daughter of the late Edgar L. Cole, Sr. and Emma Maxine Taylor Cole. She loved cross word puzzles, word search and road trips with family. Ms. Adams never met a stranger and enjoyed talking to everyone. She will be missed in our daily routine, but her fond memories will always bring a smile to our face.

Ms. Adams was also preceded in death by her sister, Carol Lynn Culver.

Survivors include her three children, Kimberly Chamberlin (Lee Turk), Phenix City, AL, Robert Noble (Cyndia), IN and David Meyers, LA; two brothers, Emmett “Bud” Cole (Vicky), Terre Haute, IN and Edgar “Eddie” L. Cole, AZ; several grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
