Evelyn Moffett

Evelyn Huskey Moffett, 88, of Phenix City, AL passed away later Wednesday afternoon, February 1, 2017 in Columbus, GA.

A visitation will be Monday evening, February 6, 2017 from 6 – 8 at Vance Memorial Chapel.

Ms. Moffett was born September 17, 1928 in Maryville, TN to the late Clarence Huskey and Iva Baker Huskey. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Wayne Huskey, Leonard Huskey and Alice Pearson, grand-daughter Brandi Moffett and son-in-law Gerald Day.

She is survived by her children, Sandra Duggan Day of Phenix City, Sharon Duggan Jones (Steve) of Midland, GA, Robert Moffett (Sheila) of Columbus, GA, Lynton Moffett (Joy) Maryville, TN and Scott Moffett of Maryville, TN; grandchildren, Greg Day (Kelli), Heath Day (Jean), Heather Holden (Blaine), Tara Moffett, Ashley Rodriquez (Nick), Ben Moffett (Tasha), Lynton Moffett, Jr, Kyle Moffett (Ciara), Cody Moffett, Cameron Moffett and Ryan Jackson; 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Patricia Pearson Montrosse, Kathy Lane, Teresa Chastain and Jim Huskey; numerous other extended family members and many caring friends.
