Evelyn Rose Meredith

Evelyn Rose Meredith, 86, of Phenix City, AL passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 in the comfort of her home. A celebration of life memorial service will be held 5:00 pm EDT Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service on Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Meredith was born March 7, 1930 in Phenix City, AL to the late J. Emerson Fuller and Estelle Tillery Fuller. She was retired from Phenix Regional Hospital, formally Cobb Memorial Hospital with many years of service. She enjoyed visiting the beach, gardening, fishing, bird watching, and cherishing special times with family and especially all her grandchildren. She was a Christian and a Baptist by faith. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Ruth Harbuck, James Fuller, Juanita Byrd, and Ernest Fuller. She is survived by three daughters, Patty Waites and husband Jim of Phenix City, AL, Becky Bush and husband Larry of Franklin, TN, and Toni McCardle and husband Mark of Americus, GA; (9) grandchildren, Cee Smith, Amy Smith, Traci Phillips, Jeremy Carlisle, Angel Culpepper (Chris), Kristopher Bush (Beth), Mark Alan McCardle, Jr. (Jenny), Michael Bush (Lydia), and Lisa Guzman (Sebastian); (13) great grandchildren, Heather Brown (Jeffrey), Cameron Wood, Jake Phillips, Ian Phillips, Sam Phillips, Cain Smith, Bailey Smith, Lily McCardle, Sara Rose McCardle, Mandi McCrea (Ryan), Kendall Elliott, Elora Tucker (Camron), Elisabeth Bush, and Kobe Culpepper; (4) great great grandchildren, Hunter Brown, Jaylee Brown, Ati Kate McCrea, and Leddon McCrea.
