Florence A. Manring

Florence Howell Manring, 93, of Phenix City, AL passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at the Columbus Hospice House.

A memorial service, honoring the lives of both Florence and Edward Manring, will be held at 3pm EST at Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Sunday, January 14, 2018. Pastor Ben Hewitt will officiate.

Florence was born May 8, 1924 in Fayette, FL to the late D.C. and Ethel Howell. She loved and appreciated her church family at Rocky Mount. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ed Manring, daughter, Ann Goodman, and sister Geraldine Howell.

She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Manring Todd and husband Dale R; grandchildren, Steve Todd (Crystal) and Stacie Wilkes; 8 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren; special niece, Marylin Goodman; her guardian angels Dan and Carolyn Perry, Becky Chapman, Helen Cadenhead and Tonie LeRoy; several other nieces and nephews and all her wonderful neighbors and church family.
