Frances Alma Roberts

Frances Alma Roberts, 99, of Smiths Station, AL died at Hartford Health Care, in Hartford, AL on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 after a long, prosperous and joyful life.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 in Lakeview Memory Gardens according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Sammie Turner officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 23, 2020 from 5-7 p.m.

Mrs. Roberts was born October 19, 1921 in Dothan, AL daughter of the late Arthur Thomas and Anzada Blakcom Thomas. She had retired from Bibb Mills after many faithful years of service. Mrs. Roberts, always seeking to help others, then began working in a local nursing home before finally retiring. She was an active member of Golden Acres Baptist Church for many years. We will miss her and the memories she both shared and helped to create with us.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wesley Harding Roberts, a son Ronnie Danford and a step-daughter, Mammie Koon.

Survivors include her three sons, Freddie Ray Dasinger, Las Vegas, NV, Wayne Dasinger, Fortson, GA, George Dasinger, Helen, MT; step-son, Gilbert Roberts, Columbus, GA; step-daughter, Elaine Owens, Shiloh, GA; several grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
