Frances Brittingham Sinquefield, 99, of Phenix City, AL slipped into eternity on Monday, February 01, 2021 with her family by her side while at her home.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 05, 2021 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Mike Turner officiating. A private interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sinquefield was born June 06, 1921 in Phenix City, AL daughter of the late Mote Brittingham and Lucille Smith Brittingham. She had retired from the Phenix City Board of Education as the Lunchroom Manager at Central High School. Mrs. Sinquefield enjoyed cooking, sewing and crocheting in her spare time. Watching the Atlanta Braves and Auburn Football was also a favorite pastime. She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church and the AMEN Choir. We will always remember her and the gentle wisdom she instilled in all of us. Her memories will always remain in our hearts.
Mrs. Sinquefield was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Edgar Winston Sinquefield, a son, Ronald Sinquefield; two brothers, Roy and Walter Brittingham.
Survivors include her son, Stephen Sinquefield (Kim), Phenix City, AL; three grandchildren, Brian (Christen), Jon-Michael (Chris) and Jeff (Danielle) Sinquefield; several nieces, nephews and other family members also survive.
