Frances Louise Riddle, 74, of Phenix City, AL passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014 at East Alabama Medical Center. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. EST at Vance-Brooks Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 5:00 until 7:00 at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA. Frances Louise Riddle was born July 4, 1939 in Blakely, GA, daughter of the late Jessie D. Goynes and Mary Agnes Davis Goynes. Other than her parents, Frances is preceded in death by her son, Terry Dewayne Riddle. Frances enjoyed taking trips to the mountains and yard sales. Survivors include, husband of 54 years James Cecil Riddle Jr, daughter, Pamela Michelle Fields and husband James Robert of Phenix City, AL; three sons, Michael Keith Riddle and wife, Tina, of Phenix City, AL, Gregory Dean Riddle and wife Neda of Virginia Beach, VA, Kevin Brian Riddle and wife Samaeria of O'Fallon, IL; sisters, Bobbie Goodwin of Phenix City, AL, and Rita Sabordo and husband Ramon, of Columbus, GA, two brothers, Donnie Goynes and wife Cindy of Denver, CO, Mickey Goynes and wife Terri of Pace, FL; ten grandchildren, Brandi, Robbie, Scotty, Valerie, Dean, Austin, Olivia, Brittany, Kendall and Kaleb; three great-grandchildren, Nicole, Kayden and Ina. Frances will be deeply missed; she leaves behind many wonderful memories for her family and friends to cherish for a life time. She will always be remembered as a strong devoted mother, caring sister and loving grandmother and great grandmother.
