Freddie Darrell Dean

Freddie Darrell Dean, 54, of Columbus, GA passed away March 5, 2016 Midtown Medical Center. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. EST at Solid Rock Assembly of God 6959 Warm springs Rd. Midland, GA 31802. Pastor Tommy Bradford will be officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, March 7, 2016 from 6-8 EST at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home 4048 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Freddie Darrell Dean was born August 2, 1961 in Columbus, GA to the late Amos Rudolph Dean Gloria Margene Bruner Dean. Freddie was a loyal Alabama fan “Roll Tide”. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and all types of racing, but most important he loved his family. Freddie will be deeply missed and will be in our hearts forever.

Other than his parents Freddie is preceded in death by his grandson Conner James Dean.

Survivors include daughters Christian Iddings and husband Charles of Columbus, GA, Maria McMillan and husband Christopher of Columbus, GA, son Darrell Thomas Amos Dean of Columbus, GA, brother Willard Ben Dean and wife Jerri of Opelika, AL, grandchildren Skyler Collum, Rachael Iddings, Dameon Iddings, Kylee Iddings, Jamie Dean, Nephews Chad,  Mitchell, Clay, Zach, Jacob Dean and the mother of his children Lavonda Cravens.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Egleston Children’s Hospital 1405 Clifton Rd Ne, Atlanta, GA 30322. In honor of Conner James Dean memory.
