Friederike Elizabeth “Rickie” Robertson

Friederike Elizabeth “Rickie” Robertson, 82, of Phenix City, AL died at Brookside Glen Assisted Living on Thursday, February 17, 2022 with her family by her side.
A private Service of Remberance will be held be at a later date according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. with interment in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.
Mrs. Robertson was born February 14, 1940 daughter of the late Franz Verwanger and Elizabeth Rusch Verwanger in Salzburg, Austria. She had retired from Delta Data Software after many dedicated years as an administrator. Ms. Rickie was an avid Auburn Fan and a great cook often sharing game day fun with family and friends. She was very health conscious and competitive. Ms. Rickie enjoyed going to the gym and walking During her walks, her personal goal was to out walk even the younger people. We will remember her as a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed, but her memories will always be cherished.
Mrs. Robertson was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, John Robertson, Phenix City, AL; two children, Sandra Ann Robertson Corcoran (Tim), Raleigh, NC and John Miller Robertson (Shannon), Smiths Station, AL; two precious grandchildren, Emily Robertson and Ethan Corcoran; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
