Msg (Ret) Raymond S. Wilson

MSG (Ret) Raymond S. Wilson, 76, of Columbus, GA passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown. Funeral services will be held at Rose Hill Church of Christ, 7479 Old Moon Rd, Columbus, GA on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 beginning at 10:00 am with Bro. Nathan Diller officiating. The interment will conclude at Fort Benning Main Post Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at the church, one hour prior to the service.

Raymond was born on June 10, 1945 in Jamaica Queens, NY to the late Raymond G. Wilson and Sarah Allen Wilson King. He proudly served our country in the United States Army retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant.

Other than his parents, Raymond is preceded in death by his daughter Carol Wilson and brother Ronald Wilson.

Survivors include his son Reginald Wilson (Yolanda) of Yorktown, VA; grandchildren Ashley (Houston, TX) and Brandon (Yorktown, VA) Wilson. Raymond is also survived by his sisters Elaine Taylor Branch and Annie Thompson of Philadelphia, Pa and brother Lucius Wilson of Bowie, MD.
