Gary Marshall Griffin, 72, Columbus, GA died at River Towne Health and Rehab on Monday, July 29, 2024 with his family by him.
A private Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.
Mr. Griffin was born August 30, 1951 in Columbus, GA son of the late Jack M. Griffin, Jr. and Mildred Marie Goodson Griffin. He was an entrepreneur running his own produce delivery business for many years in Florida. Fishing was a favorite pastime and add to that a day on the water with his family and it was the “best day ever”. He was a man of faith and he loved the Lord deeply. His grandsons, Gary and Preston were his world and he would move heaven and earth for them.
We will remember him as a family man who loved and cared for his family in every way he could. He will be missed in our daily routine; however we will never forget him.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Lewis, Phenix City, AL; a daughter, Kimberly “Kim” Beecher (Allen), Smiths Station, AL and a son, Tom “Freddy” Fowler, Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Jackie Daniels, Dahlonega, GA and Sandra Boyd, Columbus, GA; one brother, Chris Griffin, AL; two grandsons, Gary Allen Beecher (Lyndsey) and Preston Beecher (Paige); several nieces, nephews and friends.
