Georgia-Ray Vinson, age 19, resident of Phenix City, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital, Phenix City, Alabama. Memorial services will be held at the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, 4 p.m. with Reverend (Dr.) Richard Mitchell officiating. The family will receive friends after the service on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 until 6 p.m.
Georgia-Ray, daughter of Casey Ray Vinson and Cindy-Rae Lynn Holbrook Vinson, was born May 10, 2000 in Skowhegan, Maine. She was a Senior at Smith Station High School. Georgia-Ray enjoyed listening to music and was a huge fan of the New England Patriots. She loved her many animals to include her precious dog, Scooby. The family remembers Georgia-Ray as a special person who loved everyone.
Georgia-Ray was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Laney Charlene Vinson. She is survived by her parents, Casey and Cindy Vinson of Phenix City, Alabama; sister, Caylyn Jarmon-Vinson of Columbus; brother, FT2 (USN) Christian Jarmon-Vinson of Honolulu, Hawaii; paternal grandparents, Ray and Lee Vinson of Midland, Georgia; maternal grandparents, Everett and Pam Holbrook of Clinton, Maine; numerous aunts; uncles; cousins; and friends.
