Ginger Lee Griffith Griffin, 62, of Phenix City, AL passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Gentiva Hospice in Columbus, GA. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday at Epworth United Methodist Church in Phenix City, AL with Rev. Grant Parker officiating, according to Vance Memorial Chapel. A private interment will be held after the service. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Ginger was born May 21, 1953 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Tom Turner Griffith and Elizabeth Lyon Griffith. She worked as an administrative assistant for Toms, Coke and the East Alabama Medical Center. Ginger was the owner and operator of Sun City Tans in Phenix City, AL. She was also a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband Wayne Griffin of Phenix City, AL; a son, Rodney Wayne Faircloth and wife Michelle of Columbus, GA; step-children, Cathryn Griffin Pease and husband Adam of Columbus, GA and Eric Wayne Griffin and wife Sarah of Charleston, SC; a sister, Gail Griffith Stafford and husband John of Fortson, GA; a brother, Gil Turner Griffith and wife Dawn of Ellerslie, GA; grandchildren, Brogan, Griffith, Ragan and Riley Faircloth; step-grandchildren, Abby and Emily Griffin, Reynolds, Hattie and Camille Pease; much extended family, church family and caring friends. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Building Fund at Epworth United Methodist Church, 3763 US Hwy 431, Phenix City, AL 36867 or Gentiva Hospice at 2425 Williams Road, Columbus, GA 31904 .
