Mrs. Glenda R. Grisham

Glenda R. Grisham, 93, of Columbus, GA died Friday October 30, 2020 at the Medical Center Barbour in Eufaula, AL.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday November 3, 2020 at Parkhill Cemetery with Dr. Tim Jones Officiating, according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home 4048 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA.

Mrs. Grisham was born January 10, 1927 in Columbus, GA to the late Noah Jones and Rena Henderson Jones.  She was a member of Britt David Baptist Church.  Mrs. Grisham loved her church, enjoyed reading, and if you knew her you knew her strong will for life.  She worked as a Spinner at Swift Manufacturing Mills in Columbus, GA for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Marvin B. Grisham, sister, Hazel Ford, brothers, Winfred Jones, Wayne Jones, and a grandson, Jeffery Scrimpshire.

Survivors include her daughters, Diane Scrimpshire of Columbus, GA, Marcia Smith of Salem, AL, and Debby Henderson and husband Eric of Panama City Beach, FL, grandchildren, Michael Scrimpshire, Justin Smith and wife Ariel, Holt Bennett and wife Gracious, and Ashlyn Scrimpshire, great grandchildren, Allison Bennett, Bradferd Bennett, and Noah Bennett, several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her lifelong friend Rubye Bruce.
