Gloria Ragsdale Hill, 73, of Phenix City, Al, entered her heavenly home on August 21, 2024. Gloria was born on November 5, 1950, to the late Houston and Margaret Ragsdale in Phenix City, Al. Gloria was a woman of faith, growing up attending a Baptist Church with her family. After high school, Gloria married the love of her life, Jesse Hill on December 27, 1967, and began growing their family. She worked as a weaver at the Opelika Pepperell Mill until its closing in 2006. She spent her time loving her husband and children. Gloria enjoyed gardening and loved to go to the beach. She loved watching movies and was a video game enthusiast, having played every game console as they came out. Gloria went to Panama City beach as often as she could with her husband. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
Gloria Hill is survived by her husband, Jesse Hill; children, Jesse Hill (Melissa), Robert Hill, and Naomi Childs (Marty); siblings, Thressa Kullos (Dennis), David Ragsdale (Cathy), and Mark Ragsdale (Kim); grandchildren, Joshua Odom (Kaila), Michael Edwards (Jessie), Brent Hill Taelor), Jochua Edwards (Kerri), Zachary Edwards (Kristin), and Mackenzie Baker; great-grandchildren, Lacey Odom, Olivia Odom, Marissa Hill, Kasen Hill, Kyleigh Hill, Jensen Hill, Levi Moore, Jaxon Moore, Gracelyn Brown, Charolette Edwards, Emily Edwards and Camden Edwards; as well as many extended family and beloved friends.
