Gordon L. Clark, 69, of Columbus, GA passed away Sunday, September 04, 2016 at Gentiva Hospice in Columbus, GA.  A graveside service will be held at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Friday, September 09, 2016 beginning at 11:00 A.M. EST with the Reverend James Mitchell officiating.  The family will receive friends Thursday, September 08, 2016 at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. EST.  

Mr. Clark was born July 6, 1947 in Columbus, GA to the parents of the late Hezekiah Kirk Clark and June C. Bazemore.  He was self-employed and a business owner for over 45 years at Clarks Furniture Repair and Brass Company.  His hobbies included restoring his corvette and his love of remote control trains and planes.  He also loved his two dogs. 

Survivors include two sons:  Scott Clark of Columbus, Ga and Shawn Clark (Karrie) of Pine Mountain Valley, GA; two sisters:  Gloria Stell of Phenix City, AL and Diane Dempsey (Ronnie) of Columbus, GA; one brother:  Ron Clark (Janice) of Phenix City, AL; and two grandchildren:  Patrick Clark and Parker Clark.
