Gordon Warren Fredette, Jr.

Gordon Warren Fredette, Jr., 60, of West Columbia, SC passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at his residence.  A funeral service will be held at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Monday, January 21, 2019 beginning at 2:00 p.m. (EST) with Pastor Stephen Brinkman officiating.  The interment will conclude at Parkhill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. (EST).

Gordon was born on December 20, 1958 in Columbus, GA to Gordon and Pauline Fredette.  He was an avid sports fan, especially when it came to the Georgia Bulldogs and NASCAR.  Besides sports, Gordon also enjoyed watching Fox News and was very proud of being 100% Republican.  Above all, he loved his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Gordon is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda, father, Gordon Fredette, Sr., and aunt, Josephine Heath.

Survivors include his stepdaughter, Brandy Beasley of Phenix City, AL; sister, Susan Gross (Larry) of Columbus, GA; brothers, Kenny Fredette (Debbie) of Columbus, GA, Larry Fredette (Kendra) of Phenix City, AL, and Joey Fredette of Columbus, GA; step grandson, Brandon Beasley; his faithful dog, Scooby.
