Guy “Roger” Miller, 73, of Pittsview, AL, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm EST, on Friday, October 28, 2016, at Vance Memorial Chapel with Pastor Robert Rhodes officiating. Interment will be held at Lakeview Memory Gardens on a later date and the family will receive friends one hour before the service on Friday evening at the funeral home.

Roger was born on November 19, 1942, in Columbus, GA, the son of the late Arthur Lee Miller and Gladys Ragan Miller Boswell. He worked as a water hydrant technician for the City of Phenix City and attended Cottonton Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth “Liz” Miller of Pittsview, AL; children, Guy Roger Miller, Jr. of Pittsview, AL, Lisa Carol Miller of Prattville, AL, Larry Miller of Pittsview, AL, Ricky Todd Bayliss of Pittsview, AL and Rebecca Bayliss Miller, husband Jeff of Jacksonville, FL; a brother, Odis Harold Miller of Jacksonville, FL; five grandchildren, Brittany, Patricia, Megan, Guy, III and Christopher; three great grandchildren, Madison, Hayden and Lilly; other extended family members and many caring friends.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cottonton Baptist Church in Rogers honor.
