Harold Ray Miracle

Harold Ray Miracle, 80, of Phenix City, AL passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019 at his home.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 am EST Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.

Mr. Miracle was born May 23, 1939 in Pineville, KY, son of the late Oscar Miracle and Ida Mae Houser Miracle.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he retired with over 20 years of service.  After retiring from the Army, Mr. Miracle worked as an Inspector in the Textile Industry at Southern Phenix.  He enjoyed fishing and watching western movies, but most of all, spending time with his family in the mountains.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Carolyn Wilkins Miracle; one daughter, Kathy Cooper; one son, Denzil Miracle and one brother, Earl Miracle.

He  is survived by his children, Teresa Rogers and husband Fred of Hamilton, GA, Myra Atkinson and husband Leonard of Lakeland, FL, Deborah Johnson of Phenix City, AL, Richard Allen, Jr. and wife Judy of Columbus, GA and Richard Davis of Nashville, TN; one sister, Una Irene Martin of Clinton, MO;  two brothers, Charles Miracle and wife Barbara of Jacksonville, NC and Everett Vern Miracle of London, KY; fifteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, extended family and caring friends.
