Hazel M. Henderson

Mrs. Hazel Margaret Henderson, age 93, of Cornersville, TN, and formally of Phenix City, AL died Sunday, June 14, 2015 at NHC Lewisburg.

Mrs. Henderson was a native of Elmore County, Alabama, the daughter of the late Charlie Odell and Annie B. Weldon Thornton. She was a homemaker and member of the Christian faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Earl Henderson, one son, Earl Wayne Henderson, four sisters, Thelma Wilson, Doris Grier, Marie Andrews, and Myra Nell Jackson, three brothers, Lowell Thornton, Melvin Thornton, Ralph Thornton, and Nix Thornton, and her step-mother, Verma Thornton. She is survived by one daughter, Sarah H. (Charles) Osborn of Cornersville, one son, Randy P. (Erika) Henderson of Summerville, South Carolina, nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will begin Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 pm EDT at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City.
