Helen Frances Wilson Evilsizer

Helen Frances Wilson Evilsizer, 88, of Phenix City, AL died at Piedmont, Columbus, Midtown, Columbus, GA on Sunday, August 25, 2024.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 30, 2024, in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Ricky Ward officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour on Friday at the funeral home. 

Ms. Evilsizer was born July 16, 1936, in Raeford, NC daughter of the late William Daniel Wilson and Lilly Mae McPherson Wilson. She was a homemaker, enjoyed studying the Holy Bible and attending church. 

We will remember her as always going the extra mile for others. She was a loving and devoted mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. 

Ms. Evilsizer was preceded in death by the father of her children, Harry Hiram Evilsizer; her two children, Harry “Butch” Evilsizer and Nancy Evilsizer Kayser; one sister, Dorothy “Dotty” Rix and one nephew. 

Survivors include her son, Justin “JD” Evilsizer (Debra), Phenix City, AL; a sister, Elaine Hirschfeld, The Villages, FL; one grandson, James Evilsizer (Leslie), Salem, AL; one granddaughter, Michelle Eiland (Lyn), Salem, AL; two great-grandchildren, Sterling Evilsizer, and Autum Bryan (Brandon), all of Salem, AL; one great-great-granddaughter, Liliana James Bryan, Phenix City, AL; several other grandchildren, extended family, as well as many friends.
