Helen Maxine Cash Littleton

Helen Maxine Cash Littleton, 91, of Phenix City, AL, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at Phenix City Healthcare.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon EDT, on Friday, November 7, 2014, at Vance Memorial Chapel with Reverend Jonathan McNeese officiating. Interment will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens and the family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Littleton was born on May 7, 1923, in Columbus, GA, the daughter of the late Stanford T. Cash and Alice Inez Cash Peritt. She worked as a hemmer at Schwab Textile and was a lifelong member of 1st Congregational Christian Church and attended Greater Life Baptist.

Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Homer L. Littleton, Sr.; 2 daughters, Sondra Littleton and June Strickland; son, Gary Littleton, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Rita Hutchinson of Seale, AL and Renee Williams and Mike of Gatlinburg, TN; 1 son, Homer Littleton, Jr., and Kerri of Waterford, MI; brother, Samuel Doswald Cash of Columbus, GA; 10 grandchildren, Terry Hutchinson, Travis Hutchinson, Homer L. Littleton, III, Tammy Lingafelter, Tangie Summerall, Jimmy Strickland, Tonya Strickland, Brandon Williams, Sondra Williams, and Patrick Williams; 21 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
