Helene Kropp Watts

Helene Kropp Watts, 74, of Acworth, GA, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014, a memorial service will be held, Saturday, January 18, 2014 beginning at 1:00 P.M. EST, at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA, Pastor Kennith Savage will be officiating. The family will hold a private interment at Fort Benning Main Post Cemetery. Helene Kropp Watts was born September 11, 1939 in Schwabach, Germany, daughter to the late Walter and Emma Kropp. Helene was a proud supportive military wife. She was a wonderful cook and everyone loved here delicious dishes. Other than her parents, Helene is preceded in death by her devoted husband of 48 years, Billie Joe Watts. Survivors include two daughters, Ramona Watts Strickland and husband Gene, of Phenix City, AL, Tanja Helbling and husband Alan, of Acworth, GA; two brothers, Ati and Rudi Kropp both of Schwabach Germany; Helene also leaves behind three grandsons, Jeffrey Blaine Massey, Caden Foster Helbling and Addison Fowler Helbling.
