Hunter Waller

Hunter Waller, 17, of Salem, AL passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024.

A funeral service will be held 4:00 pm EDT Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL with Rev. Charlie Prichett officiating.  The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 3:00 until 4:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Hunter was born June 16, 2006 in Columbus, GA, son of Tim Waller and Brandy Newman.  He was a senior at Smiths Station High School and looking forward to graduation.  Hunter loved his shoes, his cars and Alabama football.   Above all, he loved spending time with his girlfriend and family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Ann Macy, Amy McGuire, Pat Waller and Doris Goodson “Nannie”.

Hunter is survived by his father, Tim Waller and his mama, Sarina Waller; his biological mother, Brandy Newman; grandmother, Bonnie Watson (Joe); sisters, Karmen Ray and Kimberly Presley (Zack); brothers, Jonathon Franklin (Krista), Kaleb Waller, K. C. Ray and Joseph Cooper; his girlfriend, Daniella Nix; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Grace Church of the Nazarene, 4120 2^nd Ave, Columbus, GA 31904.

The family is asking that everyone attending the service wear their Alabama t-shirt or jersey.
