Ida Elizabeth Fulford

Ida Elizabeth Fulford, 83, of Phenix City, AL, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am EDT, on Monday August 28, 2017, at Ladonia Baptist Church, with Rev. Greg Hyche officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3:00 until 5:00 pm EDT, at Vance Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Fulford was born on November 2, 1933, in Columbus, GA, the daughter of the late C. O. Odom and Allie Enfinger Odom. She was a school teacher and member of Ladonia Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years.

Other than her parents she is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Sgt. Major Edward Odom and Ray Lavon Odom.

She is survived by her husband, John Kenneth Fulford, Sr.; two sons, Ken Fulford, Jr. (Beverly) and Neal Fulford (Janice), both of Phenix City, AL; one sister, Betty Pybus of Dothan, AL; two brothers, Kenneth Odom (Betty) and Wallace Odom (Mable), both of Dothan, AL; grandchild, Kim Fulford Tillery (Chris); two great grandchildren, Kendall Tillery and Collin Tillery; extended family members and many caring friends.
