Ida Stroble

Ida Stroble, 90, of Columbus, GA passed away on Friday, October 30, 2020 at her home. A funeral service will be held at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Monday, November 2, 2020 beginning at 3:00 pm with Pastor Roger Morrison officiating. The interment will conclude at Parkhill Cemetery.

Ida was born on May 19, 1930 in Kisil, Romania to the late William and Matilda Schoon. She worked for many years as a seamstress at Schwobilt Clothes and Rainbow Cleaners.

Other than her parents, Ida is preceded in death by loving and devoted husband, Warren H. Stroble.

Survivors include her loving companion, Louis “Lou” Morgan of Columbus, GA; daughter, Berlinda Butkowsky of Streamwood, IL; and two grandchildren, Bethany Ray Dionne and Melissa Ann Webster.
