Ivy LeAnn Gunter, 22, of Opelika, AL, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, in Columbus, GA.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm EDT, on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at Vance Memorial Chapel. Interment will be held at Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery and the family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 on Saturday at the funeral home.
Ivy was born on August 1, 1993, in Phenix City, AL, the daughter of Michael Gunter and Tracy Blackmon. She was a graduate of Smiths Station High School class of 2011 where she was a member of PNN and played softball for the Lady Rebels. Ivy was so deeply loved by her family and friends and she loved her daughter Lilly Bug.
Other than her parents she is survived by her daughter, Lillian Jeanneve Eversol; brother, Michael Earl Gunter, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Donald Blackmon, wife Diana; aunts, Kristen Fincher, husband Todd and KK and Shannon Gunter; many extended family members and a great number of loving friends that were forever impacted by Ivy’s life.
She is preceded in death by her Pawpaw, William Earl Gunter and her grandmother, Debra Fleming.
