Mr. Jack Randall “Randy” Corbitt

Mr. Jack Randall “Randy” Corbitt of Seale, AL passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Danny Roberts officiating.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, at the funeral home.

Mr. Corbitt was born June 1, 1953 in Phenix City, AL son of the late Jack B. Corbitt and Norma Ruth Vance Corbitt.  He worked with Tom’s Foods and retired with over 27 years of service.  Mr. Corbitt enjoyed being in the outdoors; camping, hunting and fishing.  He also enjoyed raising his chickens.  Mr. Corbitt was a past member of the East Alabama BASS Club and a current member of Avalon Baptist Church in Seale, AL.

He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Anna M. “Peggy” Corbitt of Seale, AL; a sister, Theresa Corbitt of Seale, AL; two daughters, Eva Strachan and husband Daniel and Theresa Steinruck and husband Joseph, all of Seale, AL; grandchildren, Edward Edwards, Jr. (Veronica), Tiffany Lamb (Wesley), Christopher Cragle, Jr. (Deanna), Ryan Even, Jr. (MaryAynne), Murron Even (Codey), Izzac Steinruck and Gabby Steinruck; twelve great-grandchildren; numerous extended family and friends.
