Jackie LaVern Lisle Webb, 89, of Phenix City, AL passed away peacefully on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Phenix City Health Care in Phenix City, AL.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm EDT today (Wednesday), March 30, 2016 at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday morning from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon EDT at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City.
Mrs. Webb was born December 17, 1926 in Lee County, AL to the late Vernon “Shorty” Lisle, Sr. and Corinne May Lisle. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who was deeply devoted to her family. She enjoyed dancing, camping, and shopping. She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church and a member of the Sweet Spirits Choir. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James Veto Webb, and five siblings, Eva Lou Warren, Vernon “Bubba” Lisle, Jr., Freddie Lisle, Billy Wayne Lisle, and Dennis “Skip” Lisle.
She is survived by two sons, Victor Webb and wife Sandy of Panama City Beach, FL, and Mark Webb of Box Springs, GA, one sister, Betty Abbe and husband Buddy of Waxahachie, TX, (3), grandchildren, Angie, Tosh, and Brandon Chase, (2) precious great grandchildren, Cooper and Davis, numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, and many caring friends.
