Mrs. Jacqueline B. “Jackie” Jenrette

Jacqueline B. Jenrette, 81, formerly of Columbus, GA died Friday September 16, 2022, in Ft. Payne, AL.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday September 20, 2022, at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA with Reverend Tim Paulk officiating.  Interment will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday at Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church Cemetery in Tifton, GA.  Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Jackie, as her friends knew her, was born June 3, 1941, in Columbus, GA to the late Dossie Bowden and Mary Bowden Bynum.  She moved to Tifton where she was a secretary with the Tift County School District in Tifton, GA.  She loved to travel with family and friends.  Some of her favorite things to do was arts and crafts which included hand knitting crosses to share with anyone who met her.  She loved her lunch bunch and of course loved her family who knew her as MeMaw.  Mrs. Jenrette was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Franklin D. Jenrette.

Survivors include her daughters, Ellen Hutchinson (Mark Barwick) of Columbus, GA and Jennifer Scaff (Ronald) of Wellborn, FL, son, Ben Jenrette (Rachel) of Rainsville, AL, sister, Dorothy Bowden Merritt of Columbus, GA, brother, Haywood Bowden (Cathy) of Phenix City, AL, grandchildren, Jonathan Hutchinson, Joseph Hutchinson, Roxie Jenrette, Grayson Jenrette, Jesse Jenrette, Trey Scaff, Tyler Scaff, Emily Noonan, Billy Scaff, Leah Barwick, Jessica Barwick, and Chase Barwick, great grandchildren, Kade Noonan, Blace Noonan, and Laila Noonan, several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
