James Albert “Pa Pa Ho Ho” Daugherty, 74, of Phenix City, AL passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, GA.
A celebration of life funeral services will be held 4:00 pm EDT on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City with Rev. John Eldridge officiating. A private interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday from 3:00 to 4:00 pm EDT at the funeral home.
Mr. Daugherty was born June 29, 1943 in Blue Mountain, AL to the late M. A. Daugherty and Lucille Stephens Daugherty. He had worked with Circle City Trucking in Dothan, Alabama as a long-haul driver along with several other Independent Trucking Firms. He enjoyed cooking, fellowshipping with family and friends, and eating out at different buffet restaurants, but his greatest passion was spending time with family and all his grandchildren. He was a Christian by faith. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Patrician Ann “Pat” Daugherty, and a son, Bobby Vance Holloway.
He is survived by his children, Tim Holloway and wife Michelle, Paul Holloway and wife Andrea, Jenny Waters and husband Danny, Juanita Sutton and husband John, and Nicole Ferrari and husband Christopher; and a daughter-in-law, Linda Johnson Holloway, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, and nephews, and many caring friends.
