James Crawford Scott

James Crawford Scott, 55, of Salem, AL passed away peacefully, Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in Ohio. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Vance Memorial Chapel With Rev. Freddie Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday the 26th from 6-8 at Vance Memorial Chapel. James was born October 18, 1959 in Cherry Point, NC to James A. Scott and the late Dorothy Anette Walker Scott. James loved his family and was generous to everyone. He had been driving for Total Transportation out of Jackson, MS. He is survived by his father, James A. Scott of Smith Station, AL; son, John C. Scott (Christa) of Salem, AL; step-daughter, Alyssa Blair France, Knoxville, OH; siblings, Kathy Kirkland of Smith Station, AL, Karen E. Cobb (Bubba) of Opelika, AL, William F. Scott of Smith Station, AL and Penny V. Scott of Smith Station, AL; 2 grandchildren, Bryson Wayne Scott and Kimberlynn Blair Scott; several nieces and nephews and other extended family.
