James Donald Meadows

James Donald Meadows, 76, of Louisville, AL passed away on Saturday September 10, 2016 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL.

 A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm EDT on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Jordan Alker officiating, according to Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City, AL. 

 Mr. Meadows was born October 1, 1939 in Pike County, AL, son Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Meadows. He retired as a school teacher from the Barbour County School System.  After retiring from teaching, he and his son started a painting business.  Mr. Meadows was Church of Christ by faith.

 He is survived by his loving wife, Vickie Meadows of Louisville, AL; daughters, Donna Martin of Brundidge, AL and Deede Ketcham and husband Benjamin of Troy, AL; a son, Jeff Meadows and wife Jean of Brundidge, AL; Amber Goolsby and husband Scott and Ashley Miller and wife Anna, all of Auburn, AL; 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; many other loving family members and friends.
