James Gordon Bradley, 77, of Phenix City, AL, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am EST, on Friday, September 23, 2016 at Vance Memorial Chapel, with Reverend Grant Parker officiating. Interment, with military honors, will follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm EST at the funeral home.
Mr. Bradley was born November 2, 1938 in Americus, GA son of the late Ruell Lester Bradley and Connie Mae Bradley. He retired from Martin Army Hospital as a Medical Technologist. Mr. Bradley also worked at Cobb Hospital and Doctors Hospital. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. Mr. Bradley loved his family, his country, NASCAR racing and the Georgia Bulldogs.
He is survived by a daughter, Robyn Bartee and husband Brian of Columbus, GA; a son, Ruell Bradley of Columbus, GA; one sister, Betty Sue Jones of Tifton, GA; four grandchildren, Blakeley and Brody Bartee and Pricilla and Addison Bradley; several extended family members and many caring friends.
