James Jerome Allen

James Jerome Allen, 73, of Salem, AL, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm EDT, on Friday, July 28, 2017, in the Mausoleum at Lakeview Memory Gardens, with Reverend Barry Danner officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm EDT at Vance Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Allen was born on October 18, 1943, in Columbus, GA, the son of James A. Allen and Lena Evelyn Whitherington Allen. He worked as a truck driver for West Point Stevens.

Other than his parents he is preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

He is survived by three daughters, Kimberly D. Allen of Salem, AL, Tammy Allen Tyson of Salem, AL and Stephanie Lynn Adams, husband Jamison of Phenix City, AL; 4 grandchildren, Steven Andrew Head, Taylor Erin Tyson, Brittney Nichole Bruce and Jamison Hunter Adams; several extended family members and many caring friends.
