James Millard Newberry

 Mr. James Millard Newberry, Jr. age 72, of Talbotton, GA passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at his home. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Newberry was born October 16, 1951 in Columbus, Ga, son of Delores Ann Moore Newberry and the late James Millard Newberry, Sr.  He worked in the construction industry most of his career, with over 18 years being with Wright Associates in Columbus, GA.  Mr. Newberry also worked with several other contractors in our area.   He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and taking care of his animals.  Mr. Newberry was the type of person that was always busy with some project.  He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Other than his mother, he is survived by a son, James Michael Newberry of Columbus, GA; a sister, Jamela Masleik of Americus, GA; a brother, Derrell Newberry and wife Brenda of Columbus, GA; as well as other extended family and friends.
