Jane Ellis Shelley

Jane Ellis Shelley, 77, of Salem, AL ended her earthly battle with disease, and stepped forward into eternity to live with her Savior and Lord on Saturday, February 25, 2023 while at Arabella Health Care.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, March 01, 2023 at 2:00 PM (EST) in Lakeview Memory Gardens with Pastor Steven L. Shelley and Rev. Wesley Greeley officiating according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at New Hope Revival Ministries, Smiths Station, AL.

Ms. Shelley was born November 21, 1945 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Edwin L. Ellis and Wilma L. Denson Ellis. She had retired from Wells-Fargo after many years of committed service. Mrs. Shelley was also an active part of New Hope Revival Ministries where she enjoyed worshiping with family and friends. Apart from serving Christ, her grandchildren were her world and she was quick to brag on them. She has left a void in our lives, but the Godly foundation she prepared for our family is still solid.

Mrs. Shelley was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin L. and Wilma Ellis and two brothers, Edwin Ellis and Jack Ellis.

Survivors include her son, Pastor Steven L. Shelley (Stacey); four grandchildren, Benjamin (Jenna), Joshua, Olivia and Moriah Shelley; nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
