Janet Vaughn

Janet Krout Vaughn, 67, of Seale, AL passed away Friday morning, November 1, 2019 at Piedmont Regional Medical Center in Columbus, GA.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Vaughn was born October 3, 1952 in Arkansas City, KS, daughter of the late Bill Krout and Thresa Craig Krout.  She proudly served her country in the United States Marine Corp.  After her service in the Marine Corp., she spent her time caring for her family.  Mrs. Vaughn was a member of the VFW Post 5180 in Seale, AL and also a member of Seal United Methodist Church.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Krout.

She is survived by her loving spouse of 38 years, William Bryan Vaughn of Seale, AL;  one daughter, Zelyna Krout of Chanute, KS, one son, Billy Micheal Krout and Kimberly of Columbus, GA; sisters, Karen K. Clounch and husband Tim of Humboldt, KS, Leyona Burris and husband Shane of Chanute, KS and Janie Hytry and husband Kevin of Stevens Point, WI; brothers, Butch Krout and wife Colleen of Casper, WY, Lee Krout and Grant Krout, both of Humboldt, KS; grandchildren, Marissa Krout of Seale, AL, Grant Lee Krout Stafford of Seale, AL, Montgomery Lee-Navar Meredith of Columbus, GA and Bane Manr Krout of Columbus, GA; one great-grandchild, Ezra Navar Meredith; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and caring friends.
