Janice Diane Winkler

Janice Diane Shannon Winkler, 62, of Phenix City, AL passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in the comfort of her home.

A private memorial service will be held on Monday, October 17, 2016 by her loving family.

Janice was born March 11, 1954 in Davenport, IA to Doris Pauline Clifton Shannon and the late Meredith Lawrence Shannon.  She had worked in the food service business most of her life.  She had a passion for hard work and loved people and, was very devoted homemaker to her family.  Other than her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Shannon.

She is survived by her mother, Doris Pauline Clifton Shannon, one daughter, Michelle Lee Mann and husband Derek, son, Brian Daniel Winkler and wife Sandra; three sisters, Joan Marshall, Judy Pike, and Jennifer Goins and husband Tim, one brother, Thomas Shannon and wife Sherri, (6) precious grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, extended family, and many caring friends.
