Janice Elaine Clayton Shows, 69, of Phenix City, AL passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA. Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm EDT Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Golden Acres Baptist Church in Phenix City with Dr. Ray Cummings officiating. A private interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Janice was born April 10, 1946 in Bacon County, GA to the late Lelus Howard Clayton and Mascal Annie Turner Clayton. She was a loving mother and grandmother who was deeply devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed church, fellowship, family and shopping. She was a member of Golden Acres Baptist Church in Phenix City. She is survived by her children, Tammy Coker and husband Ron, Tiffany Shows McCraine, and Ron Shows, Jr. and wife Daphne all of Phenix City, AL; one sister, Sarah McLaney and husband Rex of Phenix City, AL, one brother, Bradley Howard Clayton and wife Michele of Phenix City, AL; (8) grandchildren, Justin Eiland, Ryan Coker, Hailey Eiland, Kodi Shows, Kyle Coker, Kayla Shows, Madalyn McCraine, and McKenzie McCraine, and one precious great granddaughter, Amber Mae Caldwell, friend and father of their children, Ronald “Ronnie” Neal Shows, Sr., numerous other family members, church family, and many caring friends.
