Janice Veasey Hart

Janice Veasey Hart, 75, of Phenix City, AL passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, July 12, 2015 at the Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, GA. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City with Rev. Jamie Holloway and Rev. Norman Garrison officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm EDT at the funeral home. Janice was born November 18, 1939 in Phenix City, AL to Barney James Veasey, Jr. and Minnie Waller Veasey. She was a member of Calvary Tabernacle Assembly of God church. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Ray Veasey. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 57 years, Don Hart of Phenix City, AL and her sister, Pat Turner, of Panama City, Florida. Loved and cherished as a daughter, niece, Tammy Massengale; great niece, Maura Heath, great nephew, Tanner Heath.
