Jason Lee Gentry

Jason Lee Gentry, 40 of Columbus, GA passed away January 30, 2014 at The Midtown Medical Center of Columbus. Graveside services will be held at Parkhill Cemetery, Saturday, February1, 2014 beginning at 2:00 P.M. EST, with Reverend Kennith Savage officiating, according to Vance-Brooks Funeral Home. Jason Lee Gentry was born November 21, 1973 son of Edgar Lee Gentry and Marilyn Stark Gentry in Elpaso, TX. Jason was employed by TSYS in Columbus, GA, he enjoyed woodworking and computer gaming. Jason is preceded in death by his mother Marilyn Gentry and Grandparents. Survivors include his loving father, Edgar Gentry of Columbus, GA; sister, Karen Sue Travis and husband Charles of Jacksonville, AL; grandmother, Sarah Stark of Columbus, GA. Jason is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
