Robbie Jeanette Ming Pugh, 81, of Phenix City, AL died at Piedmont Medical Center, Midtown, Atlanta, GA on Sunday, December 06, 2020.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Ladonia Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Greg Hyche officiating according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:30 PM at the church on Thursday.
Mrs. Pugh was born April 09, 1939 in Banks, AL daughter of the late James A. Ming and Robbie Lee Price Ming. She had retired from AT&T after 37 years of service as an operator and was a long-time member of Lakewood Baptist Church. Mrs. Pugh enjoyed shopping, sewing, cooking and Gospel Music. She especially loved Christmas time (her favorite time of the year), but her passion was her family. We will remember her as our “strong hold” and protector. Her influence and love of family will continue to shape us and future generations.
Mrs. Pugh was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings, James Ming, Mary Lou Argo and Inez Ming Story.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Wm “Tommy” Pugh, Phenix City, AL; three children, Tammy Jeanette Pugh McAlister (Robert “Bobby”), Trina Lee Pugh Watford (Tony) and Tommy J. Pugh (Jaime L.) all of Phenix City, AL; five grandchildren, Robert J. McAlister (Rachel D.), Tatum S. Watford ,Tommy J. Pugh II, Hogan L. Pugh, and Ashlind M. Pugh; nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
