Jeanine Susie Myers Chambers

Jeanine Susie Meyers Chambers, 87, of Phenix City, AL died at her home on Friday, March 24, 2023 with her family by her side.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM (EST) on Saturday, April 01, 2023 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. A Service of Remembrance will be held later.
Mrs. Chambers was born August 20, 1935 in Aberdeen, SD daughter of the late John J. Meyers and Evelyn Sterling Koppiness. She had retired from General Motors after 22 years. After her retirement she moved to Phenix City, AL to be with family. She enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling for fun and in tournaments, camping, traveling, shopping and gardening. Ms. Chambers also enjoyed remodeling the different homes she lived at. She was also an active member of Moose Lodge # 1876 in Phenix City, AL. To say the least she was a busy lady! One of her daughters affectionately referred to her as “The Energizer Bunny”. We will miss her and all the “busyness” she had going on everyday, but the vast amount of great memories we have will always warm our hearts.
Ms. Chambers was preceded in death by her parents, John J.Myers and Evelyn Koppiness; two brothers, John “Bud” Meyers, Alden Meyers and a sister, Jacqueline Schulz; and a son, Mark Seeber.
Survivors include her seven children, Holly Highstrom (Greg), Wisconsin, Jacque Williams (Lonnie), Opelika, AL, Julie Johnston,Tennessee, Michelle Mangino (Joseph), Connecticut, Kelly Jacobs (Billy), Phenix City, AL, Shawn Chambers, Phenix City, AL, and Sherrie Chambers, Phenix City, AL; four sisters, Julie Loomis, St. Petersburg, FL, Thedora “DD” Margelofsky, Beaver Dam, WI, Evelyne “Kookie” Bruhn, Umatilla, FL and Jolyda Franz, Westfield, WI; thirteen grandchildren, nine greatgrandchildren, several great-greatgrandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
