Jeffrey Wayne Faulk, 45, of Smiths Station, AL passed away early Wednesday morning, March 22, 2017 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA while surrounded by his loving family.
A celebration of life funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm EDT Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Ladonia Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Hyche officiating. A private interment will follow on Sunday at Salem Church of Christ in Highland Home, AL. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm EDT at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City.
Jeffrey was born June 4, 1971 in Montgomery, AL to Rev. Wayne Stephen “Steve” Faulk and LuAnne Pierce Faulk. He had worked in banking with Wells Fargo in Smiths Station and also formally One Main Finance Company. He was a graduate of Smiths Station High School and a member of Ladonia Baptist Church in Phenix City. He was inducted into the Smiths Station Football Hall of Fame and had a passion for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He loved pets, his family, and his many friendships. He was passionate about life and his Christian faith, he will always be loved and never forgotten by all who knew him and loved him.
He is survived by his father and mother, Rev. Steve Faulk and LuAnne Pierce Faulk of Smiths Station, AL, two sisters, Jennifer Paige Freeman and husband Vince of Smiths Station, AL, (CMSgt) Jacqueline Ann Faulk of the United States Air Force, Columbus, MS, niece, Shelby Anne Freeman, nephew, Stephen Cole Freeman, very dear friends, Mike and Karen McManus, several aunts and uncles, extended family, and a host of many caring friends.
