Jerry Lee Mays

Jerry Lee Mays, 71 of Salem, AL passed away peacefully on Monday, February 19, 2018 in the comfort of his home.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 pm EDT Friday, February 23, 2018 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery and the family will receive friends before the service from 12:00 to 1:00 pm EDT at Vance Memorial Chapel. A procession will carry the family and friends to Ft. Mitchell.

Mr. Mays was born January 14, 1947 in Pittsfield, IL to the late Gerald Henry Mays and Virginia Mays Winner.  He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family deeply. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Gladys Elizabeth Mays.

He is survived by 2 children, Marilyn Moore and husband David of Salem, AL, and Diane Graves and husband Curtis of Salem, AL; numerous other family members and many caring friends.
